Members of the New Orleans Permaculture Group and baristas from Fair Grinds Coffeehouse installing herb borders around raised beds to discourage pests at the ACORN farm. The herbs will later be harvested for tea at Fair Grinds Coffeehouse. This is our second of three planned permaculture installations this year.
Work on the ACORN Farm in New Orleans has begun. The ACORN Farm is located in the Lower 9th Ward neighborhood of New Orleans. It will provide fresh food for Fair Grinds Coffeehouse and the community.
